OBJECTIVES |

To support the IOC "gender
fairness/equality" initiative and seek to have at least 20% women in
leadership positions at all levels by 2005 |

To develop and implement appropriate
strategies and plans, to create and increase the awareness,
involvement, participation and development of women in sports and
sports-related activities at all levels, and in all functions and
roles |

To encourage, promote and develop
opportunities for women in sports and sport-related activities at
all levels, and in all functions and roles, including for education
and training. |

To encourage and promote the
development and construction of sport and recreational facilities
for women in sports and sports-related activities at all levels |

To promote and give recognition to
persons, body corporates or organisations who have contributed
significantly, outstandingly and positiviely to the promotion,
development and advancement of women in sport and/or sport-related
activities. |
